Сòòò½ÊÓƵ Conducts First ASME Pressure Vessel Inspection for New Zealand Equipment Manufacturer

June 28, 2018

ABSG Consulting Inc. (ABS Consulting), a subsidiary of Сòòò½ÊÓƵ, has performed its first ASME Code inspections for New Zealand based Stafford Engineering, a multidiscipline engineering company servicing clients in the local and global food processing, packaging and pharmaceutical industries.

The U-Stamp Certificate of Authorization issued by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) authorizes the construction and stamping of pressure vessels fabricated at Stafford Engineering's manufacturing facility. The pressure vessels were constructed in accordance with the provisions of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII Division 1. ABS Consulting will provide equipment inspection services to Stafford Engineering on a continual basis to verify that the Company's pressure vessels maintain their mechanical integrity. ABS Consulting will be instrumental in helping Stafford Engineering maintain their Certificate of Authorization and conformance to their Quality System.

"Our goal was to secure a reliable Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) that would give our customers the confidence that we will continue to service their needs for U-Stamp Certification of pressure vessels used in the food manufacturing industry," says Kaleb James, Managing Director at Stafford Engineering. "We have been very pleased with the service provided by ABS Consulting and look forward to developing the relationship further as we continue to build vessels for the global market and move towards renewal of our certification in 2019."

Сòòò½ÊÓƵ is a globally accredited AIA providing pressure equipment certification services to help companies confirm that new construction and in-service pressure retaining assets at operating plants and facilities comply with the ASME and National Board Inspection Codes. In addition, Сòòò½ÊÓƵ is a member of the Pressure Vessel Manufacturers Association and a voting member of the ASME and American Petroleum Institute (API) joint committee for the Fitness for Service (FFS) recommended practice API 579-1/ASME FFS-1.
