The Importance of Implementing OT Cybersecurity for the Power and Energy Industry

Automation, digitalization and cybersecurity go hand in hand. As your operations become more connected, data-driven and autonomous, your exposure to cyber threats increases and threat actors are becoming very knowledgeable of these new vulnerabilities. As Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments are converging faster than ever, critical infrastructure operators need to implement cybersecurity programs specifically designed to protect Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

In the power and energy industry, outlines key areas and actions needed to prevent, detect and respond to an OT/ICS cybersecurity threat, addressing existing OT cyber vulnerabilities.

In this webinar, NAES and Сòòò½ÊÓƵ cybersecurity specialists speak to the benefits for the design and implementation of effective and comprehensive OT cybersecurity programs that go beyond the NERC CIP requirements.

What We Cover

  • IT/OT convergence and differences

  • An overview of the impact OT cybersecurity has in the power and energy industry

  • Strategies to implement a successful OT cybersecurity program
