Responsible Care: Transitioning to RCMS:2013 and RC14001:2013

September 12, 2013 | 10:00 am CST

The American Chemical Council (ACC) has issued the 2013 versions of the Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) and Responsible Care 14001 (RC 14001) technical specifications.  ACC members and partner companies must transition their management system to the new version.  After January 1, 2014, audits will only be conducted to the new versions.

In addition to the changes to the technical specifications, two new safety codes of practice have been issued with deadlines identified for implementation. The Process Safety Code requires an implementation plan in 2014 while requirements for the Product Safety Code will be included in audits in a phased approach beginning in 2015.

This webinar will outline the process for transitioning to the 2013 version of RCMS or RC14001 and implementing the Process and Product Safety Codes.

This webinar will explain:

  • Revisions to RCMS and RC14001 technical specifications
  • Transition process
  • Process Safety Code of Practice implementation
  • Product Safety Code of Practice implementation
