Vish Naryan is a Distinguished Engineer and CTO and Industrial Sector Analytics/Optimization for IBM. He develops and deploys cognitive manufacturing solutions for the industrial sector, augmenting customers' analytic/optimization solutions. Vish works with the Industry 4.0/MES 3.0 consortium to ensure that the IT architecture aligns with the business imperatives for "uncertainty and next best feasible options."

Vish has generated the industry blueprints for various industry segments (Auto/A&D/O&G/Mining/ Steel) and engineering solutions. He consults to establish enterprise solution architecture and develop analytic/optimization solutions. He is responsible for product development and consultative services for industrial sector solutions, including PLM processes related to engineering, manufacturing, service after sales and business integration frameworks. His extensive industry knowledge and development of outcome-driven solutions in the context of industrial customers have established him as the go-to person at IBM.
