Hurricane Preparedness - Weathering the Storm

Are you prepared to weather the storm? Hurricanes or typhoons are massive storm systems that form over warm ocean water, often making landfall in populated regions. Threats from these systems are much more than just damaging winds and heavy rainfall—they include storm surges, coastal and inland flooding, rip currents and tornadoes.

This can cause significant damage to property and infrastructure such as long-term power, water and gas outages. The devastating effects can cause loss of life, disrupt transportation and result in extensive economic damage, making hurricane preparedness critical.

In this webinar, we will provide a practical guide on how you can understand your hurricane risk and explain what you can do to manage exposures before, during and after an event.

What We Cover

  • An introduction to storm terminology, including where and when storms occur and the damaging effects on people and property.
  • Guidance for hurricane risk exposure, including the steps your organization should take to ensure that you are properly prepared.
