Asset Integrity Management for Midstream Gas Industry

July 23, 2020 | Starts at 10:00 am CDT
AIM for Midstream Gas Industry

Ever since the introduction of OSHA 1910.119, Process safety management of highly hazardous chemicals, many midstream gas process plant owners/users have been striving to comply with the set requirements outlined in this regulation. Development of an appropriate and efficient asset integrity management (AIM) program for these facilities has been the subject of discussions among equipment engineers and asset reliability professionals for the past two decades. Codes and standards, including ASME, API and NBIC, have prescribed methods to verify the operating integrity of the plant equipment. However, there is not a unique program to address both ensuring equipment integrity and establishing safety and jurisdictional compliance. This has led to performance of improper and/or over-inspection of many equipment and piping systems (wasting a lot of time and effort without proper results).

Сòòò½ÊÓƵ, with its asset integrity management programs, plant equipment engineering, NBIC R-Stamp capability and AI services, is uniquely positioned to help the industry with this issue.

What We Cover

  • How to develop an AIM program to ensure equipment integrity and establish safety/jurisdictional compliance
  • Best practices for plant equipment inspections and verification process
